Ritual Killing or Murder: The Impact on the Family
Historically, Ritual Killing is termed a sacrifice made by an individual or group of people to a deity as a superstitious appeasement to respond to a request.
This sacrifice which is in fact a murder, legitimate or not is a conspiracy by a priest; in conjunction with a religious representative of the deity.
As a business, there are merchants who are sometimes contracted to provide the Human sacrifice in whole or part. The merchants may further employ the services of kidnappers to snatch persons against their will and with or without the consent of their Families for the purpose of the sacrifice.
Blood is said to be a Spiritual currency which has life in it. Therefore, life having the highest value is Exchanged with an inferior or same request as a replacement.
It is important to state that all religions stress on the importance of Sacrifices as a form of worship or redemption. This already instituted superstitious in etched in the minds of people from generation to generation and have become an acceptable norm.
The object of sacrifice maybe different from one religion to another; however, the individual in a bid to make such an appeasement heightens the object to fulfill the peculiarities of their situations.
In most cases the victims are unwilling contributors and victims to the process. They are captured, beaten, brutalised, tied, mutilated and gruesomely killed to satisfy such inordinate desires of the perpetrators, proponents and collaborators; who see this act more as a religious experience than a CRIME against the victims, their families and humanity.
Such gruesome and despicable acts remain indelible in the minds of the Family members; who not only live with their death but the cruel manner in which they lost their beloved ones.
